Dmitriy Alexandrovich Vaisbekker-Ivanov 〔(Dmitriy Vaisbekker-Ivanov, “Scotch with destiny” )〕 (born 0Dec.01 1970, in Dzhambul city, KazSSR, USSR — Russian poet – citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Vaisbekker-Ivanov is a creative pseudonym. The real surname is Ivanov.
== The biography ==
D.A.Vaisbekker-Ivanov was born in 1970 in a Dzhambul (nowadays Taraz). After school and service in the Soviet Army he was involved in small business, but in 1996 heavy illness confined him to bed for 4 years. Having gone through two clinical deaths, the future writer has started to do his first literary steps in poetry and prose.
In 2001 Dmitry overcame his illness and trying to find his feet in prose, started to work as non-staff correspondent in the city newspaper "Board" and later he cooperated with several regional Russian-language periodicals in Taraz.
But in 2003 the illness returned again and stopped writer’s creative activity and public life for 2 years. Once again Dmitry overcame his illness and continued to work as the journalist in the regional political newspaper «Southern Express ». In a month he was appointed as editor-in-chief.
The same 2005 he was elected as a members of executive committee of the journalists Congress of Kazakhstan in Zhambyl region, headed by Kazakhstan President’s daughter Dariga Nazarbaeva. () He worked there till 2009. From 2007 to 2009 he was the Editor of political newspaper « City 326 ».
Because of the renewed illness Dmitry had to stop journalistic activity and was completely involved in literature. He published his woks in “Prostor” («Prostor» ) , magazine, in literary-publicity edition «The provincial intellectual» and other Kazakhstan and Russian periodicals («The provincial intellectual» ) и другой казахстанской и российской периодике.
